You light this heater simply by pushing and rotating a knob to make the Piezo sparking mechanism kick in. Once it’s running, an oxygen depletion sensor and accidental safety shut-off for tip-overs help ensure safety. For a longer heating duration, this unit can be connected with an optional hose to a 20-pound propane cylinder. The fan runs on four D batteries or an AC power cord, which are sold separately.
